How to Get the Most Out of Your CBD
Have you had a so-so experience with CBD? Or maybe you just don't know where to start? Check out these tips to help new and seasoned users get the most out of their CBD products.
Start with quality CBD oil
The quality of CBD you use has a direct impact on your experience. That’s why determining quality should be one of the first steps you take when shopping for CBD. Whether you’re shopping for a whole plant extract or an isolate, quality of product matters. Here are some tips to help get you started:
Look for products with QR codes. This is a scannable code used to reference a COA, or 3rd party test.
Match the concentration stated on the label with the concentration listed on the COA.
Look for heavy metal, microbiological contaminant, bacterial contaminant, mycotoxin contaminant and pesticide testing. For more information on reading COAs click here.
Research where and how a company’s hemp is grown.
If shopping for a whole or broad spectrum oil, look for a diverse terpene profile and multiple cannabinoids (this is what generates the entourage effect).
CBD and consistency
The burden of consistency lies on both you and the CBD manufacturer. Taking CBD consistently is just as important as using a consistently great product. Let’s start with the product.
Find a manufacturer that’s dedicated to farms they can trust. You can’t produce high quality CBD from a poorly grown crop. You also can’t expect consistency if every batch of CBD is extracted from different farms with different standards.
Now for your part. In most cases, taking CBD every day will give you the best results. This is because it’s easier for the Endocannabinoid System to fine-tune itself than to work to achieve balance off and on. We get it though. It's easy to forget to take CBD once your symptoms are gone. When you feel your symptoms are under control, a better approach would be to slowly lower your dose. It’s actually normal for your optimal dose to change overtime, and many people find they can eventually lower their dose.

Read the directions to make sure you’re taking your CBD correctly. We recommend sublingual application for the best results.
Gently shake your bottle before using. This will help evenly distribute the cannabinoids and terpenes.
